The Ralph Ellison Memorial is located in Riverside Park at 150th Street & Riverside Drive, New York, New York. Ellison lived at 730 Riverside Drive, right across the street, for many years. The memorial was unveiled in 2003 with a huge celebration with Bill Cosby, Ruby Dee, Jazzmobile, elected officials, etc. It was a great day.
