Description
The Poetry Society of America was founded in 1910 by Jessie B. Rittenhouse. Since its founding, Poetry Society of America members have included such poets as Robert Frost, Langston Hughes, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Marianne Moore, and Wallace Stevens. The Poetry Society of America is a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting and fostering poetry throughout the nation.
