EXPERIMENTS03 – Experiments 03 is a weekly developmental series designed to give emerging playwrights the opportunity to hear and see their work read before an audience and to receive feedback in informal audience response sessions after the readings. These voices from around New York and around the world represent diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-political backgrounds. The playwrights will have their work read by a pool of professional actors. Each evening in the series will feature one playwright. After the reading there is an open dialogue with the writer, actors, and audience, providing an important forum for artistic development and education. Curator George Ferencz has taught at Columbia University, Yale University and Marymount College. This series has lead to full productions being mounted at La MaMa.
