Instituto Cervantes is a worldwide non-profit culture and language organization created by the Spanish government in 1991. It is the largest organization in the world concerned with the teaching of Spanish, and it maintains a presence in forty-three different countries with 90 centers around the world. Instituto Cervantes is devoted to the Spanish and Hispanic American culture and Spanish Language. Literary Readings and Presentations – Presentation and promotion of books written about Hispanic topics in all genres: fiction, poetry, literary non-fiction or drama.
