(1967-2009) Poet. Rachel Wetzsteon was born and died in Manhattan, New York. She received a Ph.D. from Columbia University, and taught at the Unterberg Poetry Center of the 92nd Street Y and at Barnard College in Manhattan, New York.

Oscar Williams

(1900-1964) Poet. Oscar Williams was born in Letychiv, Ukraine. He immigrated to New York when he was seven years old, and in his later years he lived in Manhattan, New York.
