(1931-2015) Journalist. Marlene Sanders was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and died in Manhattan, New York. She authored the book, “Waiting for Prime Time: The Women of Television News,” with Marcia Rock. She lived in Manhattan, New York, and Sherman, Connecticut.

Howard Sackler

(1929-1982) Screenwriter, playwright. Howard Sackler was born in Brooklyn, New York, and died in Ibiza, Spain. Mr. Sackler was a gratdate of Brooklyn College and the winner of the 1969 Pulitzer Prize for drama for “The Great White Hope.”
