Margot McCoy Gayle

(1908-2008) Preservationist, writer. Margot Gayle was born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1908, and died in Manhattan, New York, in 2008. She was known for her efforts in preserving historic landmarks, especially Victorian cast iron architecture, and she was the author of four books.
