Join us to celebrate the release of the Spring 2025 issue of The Branches with readings from featured authors, print copies, and a potluck picnic lunch in Central Park on Sunday May 18th. The Branches is a journal of literature, poetry, cultural criticism, and visual art. Please see our website TheBranchesJournal.com for our past fall issue and our socials. Please contact the voice number listed here if you have difficulty finding us.
The Branches is dedicated to exploring our beliefs, our influences, and our contexts through word and art. Instead of making silos for creative expression, theological meditation, popular media, and intellectual thought, The Branches is interested in the fluctuating overlap of all of these and seeks to provide a space for earnest engagement, curious reflection, open-minded dialogue, and mutual betterment.
If you plan to come to our spring release party, please bring a dish to share if able. We’ll be in the Heckscher picnic area behind the Heckscher playground and Umpire Rock.
