Catskill Poetry Workshop The Catskill Poetry Workshop offers an opportunity for writers to apply themselves to the craft and art of poetry in a supportive atmosphere. The seven-day program includes workshops, classes on craft, evening readings by staff and guest writers and individual instructional conferences, assuring sustained dialogue with the faculty.

Otsego Hall

Otsego Hall, James Fenimore Cooper’s permanent home from 1833 until his death, was built by his father. It was located on Main Street opposite Fair Street. The house was destroyed by fire in 1853.
