Edgar Allan Poe Cottage

Edgar Allan Poe Cottage, East Kingsbridge Road and Grand Concourse, in Poe Park, is open year-round, on Saturdays and Sundays, and closed on major holidays. The house became a museum in 1917, and is now a National Historic Landmark.

Bronx Writer’s Center – The Bronx Writer’s Center serves urban writers and readers of all ages. It’s core services include access to office equipment, workspace, and tools for writers, such as a research library focusing on publishing and free creative writing workshops. The Bronx Writer’s Center also sponsors two reading series in the Bronx.
