Large book department within the Cornell Store. In addition to wide selection of new and bargain books, the department also specializes in Cornell-related and local books.

The Friends of Tompkins County Public Library Book Sale have two book sales each year. One sale starts on the first full weekend in May, the other begins on Columbus Day weekend. Each sale runs for three weekends. In between the sales they are open for donations only, not for selling books.
