(1920-2003) Writer, novelist. Sloan Wilson was born in Westport, Connecticut, was a SUNY Buffalo English professor and public information director from 1952 to 1955. He lived on High Ridge Road, Pound Ridge, New York, in the late 1950s and in Ticonderoga, New York both at the Rogers Rock Club and at 207 Champlain Avenue, during the 1960s and 1970s. He was the author of fifteen books.
