(1918-2015) Rev. Gardner C. Taylor was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and died in Durham, North Carolina. He was senior pastor of the Concord Baptist Church of Christ in Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, New York, for forty-two years. He authored several books and 2,000 sermons.
