(1940-2014) Editor, author. Michael Janeway was born in Manhattan, New York, and died in Lakeville, Connecticut. He was the son of the novelist Elizabeth Ames Hall Janeway. He had been an editor for The Boston Globe and an executive editor for The Atlantic Monthly.
