(1888-1989) Writer, lyricist, librettist. Irving Berlin was born in Russia and died in Manhattan, New York. He was famous for writing “God Bless America,”(1939) and “White Christmas” (1942). He lived in Manhattan and on Crocheron Park, Bayside, New York.
