Franklin W. Stahl (1929-2025) Molecular biologist, geneticist, author. Franklin W. Stahl was born in Needham, Massachusetts, and died in Eugene, Oregon. He completed a short course at the Cold Spring Harbor Biological Laboratory in Laurel Hollow, New York, in 1952, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, in 1956.
