(1832-1911) Author, journalist, poet. Elizabeth Chase Allen was born in Strong, Maine, in 1832, and died in Tuckahoe, New York, in 1911. She was the author of both prose and poetry books. She used the pseudonym Florence Percy. She was married to Paul Akers and, later to E. M. Allen.
