(1916-2007)Stage and Screen Writer. David Shaw, the brother of Irwin Shaw (writer)was a Tony-Award-winning writer and also wrote scripts for many highly regared shows of television’s golden age (for example “Playhouse 90” and “Studio One”). For the cinema, Shaw worte the screenplay for “If It’s Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium.” Shaw served with the Army Air Corps in North Africa and the Mediterranean during World War II.
