(1905-1969) Author. Charlotte Armstrong was born in Vulcan, Michigan, and died in Glendale, California. She worked in the advertising department of the New York Times and was a reporter for “Breath of the Avenue.” She received a bachelor of arts degree from Barnard College in 1925. She was married to Jack Lewi and also used the pseudonym Jo Valentine.
