(Harry Castlemon) Writer of juvenile adventure fiction. Born in Randolph, NY; moved to Buffalo when a child. After education and military service he authored the “Gunboat Series,” the “Rock Mountain Series,” the “Roughing It Series,” “Rodney The Partisan,” and “The Steel Horse.”
