(1923-2008) Short story writer. Arturo Vivante was born in Rome, Italy and died in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. He moved to New York in 1958. His work appeared in many periodicals including: Vogue, The New York Times, London Magazine, The Guardian, The Southern Review, and in the New Yorker where he published over 70 short stories.
