Author Nomination

New York State and City have long been home to many writers, so many that our site may not include all who deserve to be included. We invite nominations of deceased authors for the LitMap. Eligible authors will be authors of published (not self-published or vanity press) books of literary prose, poetry, history, or humanities. All nominations will be reviewed by a LitMap panel appointed by the New York State Literature Program; the panel and LitMap staff will make final decisions. Please use the form below to nominate an author, including birth and death dates; restrict authentication (biographical and bibliographical references) to no more than 200 words. Please include the county or city where your nominee wrote and lived. Thank you.
