(1929-1982) Screenwriter, playwright. Howard Sackler was born in Brooklyn, New York, and died in Ibiza, Spain. Mr. Sackler was a gratdate of Brooklyn College and the winner of the 1969 Pulitzer Prize for drama for “The Great White Hope.”
