Bio

(1922-2011) Historian. Jerry Robinson was born in Trenton, New Jersey, and died in Staten Island, New York. He was a comic-book artist, comics historian, and editorial cartoonist. He was best known as the creator of the Joker, the archnemesis of DC Comics’ Batman. He wrote more than two dozen books on the history of comics.
