(1962-2011) Writer. Dwayne McDuffie was born in Detroit, Michigan, and died in Burbank, California. Mr. McDuffie was a comic-book writer and had studied film at New York University. He was the creator of the animated television series Static Shock, and he wrote and produced the animated series Justice League Unlimited.
