(1932-2010) Writer. Stephen Rosenfeld was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and died in Springfield, Virginia. He worked for the Washington Post for 40 years as a columnist and editorial page editor. He received a master’s degree in Russian history from Columbia University in 1959.
