(1928-2005) Poet. Donald A. Petersen was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1928 and died in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 2005. He taught at the State University of New York College at Oneonta, New York for 38 years, retiring as professor of English in 1993.
