(1949-2006) Columnist, author. Bernice Kanner was born in Manhattan, New York, in 1949. She attended Harpur College of SUNY in Binghamton, New York, graduating in 1969 and receiving her master’s degree in 1972. She wrote for Advertising Age magazine, The New York Times, and The Daily News, and authored twelve books. Ms. Kanner died in Manhattan, New York in 2006.
