Bio
FRAZIER RUSSELL is Assistant Director and a core faculty member of The Writers Studio, a private school for writers located in Manhattan, and recently profiled in Poets & Writers Magazine. He has given readings, and conducted workshops, at numerous venues, including Lincoln Center, Cleveland State University, The Knitting Factory, and the St. Mark’s Poetry Project. In 1996, his chapbook novella, Fweivel: The Day Will Come, was published by Ridgeway Press. His poems and book reviews have appeared, or are forthcoming in American Letters & Commentary, The American Voice, Global City Review, Phoebe, Ploughshares, The Four Way Reader #2, and Two Girls Review. From 1992 to 1997, he served on the Board of Governors for the New York Foundation for the Arts, and he continues to direct the Poets & Writers “Writers Exchange program.
