(1895-1977) Journalist, writer, author. Born in Rhode Island, George Samuel Schuyler lived in New York City and Rochester. His works include “Negro-Art Hokum” (which was first published in The Nation in 1926), “Black No More” (1931), and “Black and Conservative” (1966).
