John Noble Wilford (1933-2025) Journalist, author. John Noble Wilford was born in Murray, Kentucky, and died in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was a Pulitzer Prize-winning science reporter for The New York Times. He had also worked for The Wall Street Journal and Time magazine. He received a master’s degree in political science from Syracuse University.
